This is three coats with two coats SV. My first impression was that it reminded me a lot of Excuse Moi! There are two major differences though, one is the obvious lack of multi colored glitter mixed in. The other is the formula. Excuse Moi! was a two coater, packed with glitter but very gritty and hungry for topcoat. The base was clear on EM too. This has a rose colored jelly base and the glitter was a bit less dense. So although I needed an extra coat, it was a lot smoother on the nail. I like this. It's really a pretty wearable glitter, not too over the top. I have seen comparisons of this to China Glaze Mrs. Claus, and they are close enough for me to call dupes.
I have to confess though...I am slightly glittered out (blasphemy!) This is completely due to glitter removal. I know...foil...still, it's a pain in the ass! I have a few really pretty ones sitting in my untrieds, and as much as I want them on my nails, I can only do it so often.

OPI- Designer de Better
Well Hello!!! Welcome back:-) For today's polish, I know I'm a little late to the party and you have probably seen this before but.. well, I want a turn! When I first saw this one I thought, eh another silver foil, boy was I wrong!
This is a silver foil, but it has a bunch of copper foil in there too. All blended up it gives the appearance of a champagne color. It goes on really thin, I used three coats to get it where I didn't see bald spots. Because the coats are so thin though, the don't take forever to dry. This polish doesn't really have a texture, but it benefits from a layer of topcoat to give it that smooth mirror look.

OPI Save Me, Nicki Minaj Collection
Hi Guys! I really need to get back to work here, I have been neglecting you! Busy is an understatement for my life right now, but I am not going away! This is my little outlet:-) Anyways, I hope you all had wonderful holidays! Mine was fantastic! My sister had a special present on Christmas Eve, a beautiful baby girl! Welcome Lola!!!
Today I bring you a gem my other sister picked out for me, OPI's Save Me, from the new Nicki Minaj Collection. At first this looked a little sheer so I decided to put it over a color, I used Revlon Violet, but this almost covered it completely except for around the edges, and it looked terrible. So here it is over Sally Hansen Celeb City, a silver foil that works perfectly as a base for this.
Save Me has a clear jelly formula jam packed with silver micro glitter that is so dense it almost looks foil with a few coats. The kicker in this is the holographic bar glitter that shines like little rainbows bouncing off mirrors on my fingers. This is made for New Years Eve:-) This was a little thicker than most, but not as gooey as Kissy was (I still think that was a fluke). I put on a thin coat in the regular direction , then a second coat sideways across my nails. This gave the bar glitter a more random look. It does have texture so I used 2 coats of Seche Vite. I love this, its sooo much fun!
All of these pictures were taken inside, so if I manage to get good light tomorrow, I'll snap a few more pictures and update this post.
In case you want to see what Celeb City looks like on its own here it is with 2 coats, no topcoat.

OPI- Warm & Fozzie
Hi guys:-) Miss me? Well I'm back with some swatches. I have here another polish from the Muppets Collection,Warm & Fozzie. First off, how cute is this name!?!? I decided to buy this polish before I even saw it based on the name alone.
I love this in the bottle and I actually love it in the pictures too, for some reason in real life it washed out my skin something terrible.
Its a really pretty medium brown with sometimes mauvey, sometimes brassy foil/glitter. I know that might be the worst explanation ever, but for some reason this color is super hard to describe! When it looks mauve-brown, I love it, when the brassiness comes out, I hate it. I think it's beacuse of my very pink skin, the tone just dosent work. I got these pictures at home, but the sun happened to be on strike that day so these are all inside. They really only show the polish when its the color I like, at my office under the flourescent lights was when the ugly came out.
Nonetheless it went on nicely; a tad thin, so this is three coats. For some reason, removal of this gave me fits! For all my complaining though, this is a beautiful color. On warmer skintones it would be faboulous!

OPI- Excuse Moi!
I am very excited about this polish! I have been awaiting the arrival of the Muppet's polishes and this is my first one. This is the one glitter in the collection that you wont have to layer to get opaque. I usually do not think of myself as a pink fan, but this color is awesome!
This is a bright pink jelly with a mega dose of pink micro glitter, and medium sized hex glitter. Also sprinkled in there is medium hex glitter in green, blue, yellow and silver (from what I can see). I say sprinkled because it reminds me of rainbow sprinkles on hot pink ice cream, so fun! This went on like most glitters. I used three coats that dried lightening fast. It devours topcoat, I started with two coats of Seche Vite, but decided to do another the next morning. My only complaint, is that which I have with most glitters... chipping! I put this on Saturday night, and by Sunday afternoon, one of my pinkies and a middle finger were half naked. I need to figure out a way to fix this problem. A new basecoat perhaps? I welcome advice!

To stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate. OPI- God Save the Queen's Nails
This looks so pretty in the bottle! I want to love it, I really do, I just don't:-( If it were a pillow, or rug or even dress, I would really like it, but on my nails, I keep thinking "old lady's would love this". Its a warm burgundy shimmer that has a perfect formula. I used two coats plus Seche Vite, that added a little extra shine. I really hate saying I don't like something; and it doesn't happen often, because if I don't like it, I don't buy it. But you know how sometimes looks can be deceiving right? Well here it is... there's nothing 'wrong' with it. I just don't want to wear it...

OPI, Color to Diner For
Ok, I'll be the first to admit I'm not usually a red fan. I like one red, the cult fave OPI, I'm Not Really a Waitress. That's it, so when I saw this I figured, 'Oh another red shimmer'. Well I like it. It suits my coloring, there's not to much shimmer, and it its not one of those trashy reds... if you know what i mean? The shimmer is gold and pink which balances out, and keeps it from leaning to warm or cool. Its a rich beautiful color. I still don't know how often I will get the urge to wear red but if I do now at least I have another option.
I swatched this really quickly and when I looked at the pictures I realized what a sloppy mess I made! Sorry for that! The color captured pretty well, but it was more opaque in real life, with no vnl.

OPI- Espresso Your Style
This one is an oldie but a goody! Espresso Your Style was released way back in 2006, and although its supposed to be discontinued (or so I hear), I still see it around in OPI displays. I think this is an ultimate warm fall brown. Kind of like a shimmery chocolate bar. Its a med-dark brown with gold micro-glitter.I don't have a lot to say about it, the color appears true to life, 2 coats, easily applied.
I am so excited about fall; orange, red, and gold leaves, football, pumpkin farms and haunted houses:) Oh and hot apple cider, can't forget that! I get excited about summer but I LOVE fall, and these colors just add a little bit to the excitement!

OPI It's My Year
I kept seeing this and I don't know what took me so long to snatch it up! It is a beauty! It's My Year is from OPI's Miss Universe collection. There seems to be a trend with colors like this, they are popping up everywhere. OPI first had Rally Pretty Pink, Zoya had Faye, and Orly had Rock the World. There may be more, but those are the ones that come to mind. I don't have any of the others to compare this to, but I know Orly RTW looked darker in the bottle and from what I've heard the other two are warmer in tone. I am just going on hearsay though on that!
It's My Year is a mauve-ish violet, with a mega dose of gold shimmer. Its impossible to put into words how this shines! I caught myself (in public) staring at my hands and moving them in the light! I'm sure anyone who saw me thought I was crazy, lol!
This went on really well, i used 3 thin coats, but could have easily left it at 2. It dried super shiny but I used topcoat anyway just to protect it. Here are a few pictures in different light, so you can see!
